The Eugene Pioneer Cemetery Endowment Fund (EPCEF) was established in 1975 as a non-profit corporation. Visionary founders included, the late Alton C. McCully and Donald T. Husband. EPCEF is an adjunct to Eugene Pioneer Cemetery that is on the National Register of Historic Cemeteries. The mission of EPCEF is to provide funds for the maintenance and beautification of the almost 16 acre Eugene Pioneer Cemetery. The principle is irreducible, which means that interest only can be used for the above.
Financial advisors to the Board of Directors invest EPCEF funds. Current EPCEF Board members are: President, Robert A. Carmichael; Treasurer, Sara Leiman; and Secretary, Ruth Lake Holmes. Ingrid Carmichael, Myrna Broekhoff, Everett C. Smith and Quentin A. Holmes are also EPCEF Board members. |
